It’s been a very cool weekend.  I did some work with a couple of my Real Estate clients, visited with my youngest daughter most of the day Saturday, went to an art reception in Pleasanton at the Old Firehouse Art Center and even did a little photography.  The reception my daughter and I stopped into see was presented by the Pleasanton Art League and was a juried show featuring mixed media.  I went to see  the photography and other art after hearing on Facebook from Sue Evans that one of her black & white photos was in the show.  I had never actually met Sue face to face so thought it would be fun to do that as well as see what art is being produced in Pleasanton.

At one point on Saturday I found a few free minutes before going to pick up my daughter for the day who is home from college.  Just enough time to drive over to this old ranch house that I have passed so many hundreds of time while traveling up and down I680 in San Ramon.  Every time I see it I make another mental note to self to explore it with my camera one day.  The day finally arrived and I learned that this old home is the David Glass House historic site.  They have tours on weekends but you need to check ahead because it’s open only about one weekend a month.
